A woman is being made to pay for her evil and wicked intentions after bathing her neighbour with hot pepper.
The woman identified as Patience Reveth, has bagged 1-year jail term.
Mrs Reveth. a34-year-old woman, was sentenced to prison by an Oredo Magistrates’ Court for beating and bathing her neighbor with pepper.
According to Daily Post, the suspect was arraigned by Magistrate Mrs. RacheaI Ogbevoen who in her ruling gave her an option of N25,000 as fine.
The Prosecutor, Patrick Agbonifo told the court that the offence was committed on Nov, 2014 at first East Circular Road in Benin.
Agbonifo said the convict assaulted Tunde of the same address by beating her with a cane and bathing her with pepper which caused her bruises on her hand and neck.
According to him, the offence contravened Section 355 of Criminal Code.
The accused, however, pleaded guilty to the charges leveled against her, before judgment was passed.
