A school teacher has attracted complete outrage after he was found out to have defiled several minors.
The man whose name is not yet given, has been accused of defiling several young girls in Siaya County, Kenya.
He absconded to the unknown after police in Siaya began to look for him.
According to The Standard, the man has been found out to teach at Sifu Island Primary School.
The victims are said to be between class one and four. The minors were said to have been lured by the rogue teacher into his house where he committed the heinous act.
Area police boss Paul Kiarie confirmed the incident to the Standard newspaper and said a warrant of arrest has been issued against the 34-year-old man who is now said to be on the run.
“He has gone into hiding but we are hunting for him everywhere,” the police boss is quoted as saying by the paper.
The minors were said to have been lured by the rogue teacher into his house where he committed the heinous act.
The teacher is said to have fled the school after fellow teachers questioned him over the said sexual allegations and police began to look for him.
“I have not seen him since August 27 when the issue was reported to my office,” said the school headteacher identified as Moses Wadhawa
The teacher is said to have been sending the girls into his house to either pick books for him or prepare meals and he would later follow them and commit the offence.
Cases of teachers eloping with pupils have been on the rise where the affected fail to report to relevant authorities for fear of being victimised by the culprits.
