A man narrowly escaped death after he failed to stop when pulling into a rooftop spot of a nine-storey parking garage in Texas.
A driver miraculously survived a nine-storey fall after a wire caught his car’s axle
A 24-year-old motorist was left dangling in his vehicle off the side of a multi-storey building car park yesterday after ramming through the protection wires, but miraculously survived the accident after driving off the 9-storey building as he was saved when a wire wrapped around one of his axles.
According to The Sun, cops were called to the scene in Texas, USA shortly after 2.30pm to find the hanging silver 2004 Toyota.
The driver was not identified by authorities but said he was unable to stop the car before hurtling off the roof and being pulled to safety with the help of a bystander.
He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident but managed to climb out through an open window.
The driver also told cops he had been trying to park the car before losing control and flipping over the side of the building.
