An unknown man who was found completely n*ked has been given the beating of his life in broad daylight.
This unknown man was tied up and badly beaten by residents after he was found naked in somebody’s yard on Sunday.
A man who had not yet been identified recently stumbled into a family home in a completely n*ked state.
The man wandered into the house in the early hours of Sunday and he was subsequently beaten to a pulp.
According to Daily Sun SA, the residents of Weenen, in the KZN Midlands, South Africa, moered the man, believed to be in his mid 30s, after allegedly accusing him of witchcraft.
They said they beat him because there was no way he had good intentions when he went into someone else’s yard n*ked and smeared with white ash.
A witness said residents arrived on the scene after hearing home owner, Nculi Thusi, screaming.
“Residents came in large numbers and tied him up before beating the hell out of him,” said the witness, adding that the man refused to answer questions.
Noma Sikhakhane, 28, a resident who arrived on the scene after the man was beaten, said the family looked scared and worried.
“They said they were worried because they didn’t know what exactly he was doing in their yard. They suspected he was involved in something evil,” she said.
Noma said the man attacked Nculi when she confronted him. She added that the family didn’t know the man and he wasn’t familiar with the area.
“We suspect he was sent by someone who feared he would be recognised if he went on there himself,” she said.
Noma added that the Thusi family was planning to consult a sangoma to find out what the man was doing in the yard.
Nculi’s sister, said: “This matter is very sensitive and has left the family devastated. We don’t want to talk about it.”
The man was rescued by local cops.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Shooz Magudulela said no case was opened.
