The supervising Minister of Health, Dr. Khaliru Alhassan, diplomat, development partners, top government officials and private sector chieftains will be at the formal departure ceremony of 250 Nigerian volunteers in Lagos today.
This volunteers will be rendering services to contain the spread of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
The team consist of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other department of health professionals.
The high point of the departure program is the official launch of the Africa Against Ebola Resources Mobilization Campaign, under a partnership between the African Union and the private sector
