A dead body has been found near a primary school in Kipkeremwa Village, Londiani Sub County, Kenya, sending panic through the hearts of residents.
The police in area are investigating the case.
According to Citizen TV, the decomposing body was that of a 25-year-old man.
Residents are panicky because a case like this one has never occurred in the village.
According to former Kapseger Ward MCA Bernard Tesot, the man had gone missing for the past one week, adding that the search for his body began after a neighbor’s dog took home a human hand Monday night, raising suspicion from the neighbors who reported the incident to Kericho Police Station.
Tesot said the late clinical officer’s cause of death has not yet been established, and noted that police have launched investigations into the incident.
The body was taken to the Kericho District Hospital Mortuary awaiting a postmortem.
