An Abuja High Court has granted bail to former governor of Adamawa state and his son, at a sitting on July 10.

This time, the former governor of Adamawa state, Murtala Nyako and his son Abdulazeez, were lucky enough to be granted bail of N1.4 billion.
An Abuja High Court let the ex-governor and his son walk at a sitting yesterday, July 10.
According to the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the father and son, and two others used five companies - Blue Opal Nigeria limited, Serore Farms & Extension Limited, Pagoda Fortunes Limited, Towers Assets Management Limited and Crust Energy Limited, to siphon Adamawa state funds running to N15 billion.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
