A heartless Nigerian man has brutally murdered a woman and her nephew by shooting them both dead in London.

According to Scotland Yard, Obina Ezeoke, 24 has been charged with the murder of two relatives - Annie Besala Ekofo, 53, and her nephew Bervil Kalikaka-Ekofo, 21 - who were shot at a flat in East Finchley, north London, on Thursday shortly after 6.30am.
Ezeoke was charged to court at Hendon Magistrates' Court in north west London on Wednesday.
According to The Express, Mr Kalikaka-Ekofo, a Psychology student, died from a gunshot wound to the head. Officers were called to the crime scene on Elmshurst Crescent, East Finchley at around 6.25am on Thursday to reports of two people injured at the address.

On arrival, they found the pair suffered gunshot injuries and both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Four other people, including a child, were also at the property at the time of the killings but were not harmed.
