The long arm of the law has finally caught up with three deadly electrical cable thieves in Anambra State.

Three suspects have been arrested by operatives of the State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for allegedly vandalizing electrical cable at Agu Awka power line, absradiotv.com reports.
They were paraded at the Corps Headquarters in Awka, the State commander, Mr. Godwin Omoregie who cautioned youths to shun all forms of crime and criminality to avoid derailing their future.
The suspects are, Nnamdi Nweke, a welder apprentice from Awka, Chibuzor Mouto, an orange seller from Awka and Ikechukwu Okafor, a groundnut seller from Achalla, Awka North.
Commander Omoregie said the suspects were cutting up the cables with saws in a bush at Agu Awka around midnight last Sunday when operatives of the corps on patrol heard noise in the bush and went to investigate and on sighting them, the suspects took to heels and one of them was apprehend who later led them to arrest the other two suspects while another suspects were still at large.
