Mixed reactions has trailed the news that Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has registered his son in a public school in Kaduna.

This is the photo allegedly showing El-Rufai's son registered in a public school

There is a brewing controversy over a viral photo allegedly of the son of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai being circulated online alleging that he has been registered in a public school as a fulfillment of the campaign promises of the governor.

But the credibility of the report which was made public by one Muktar Garba Maigamo has been discredited by many people.

According to some of the respondents on Maigamo's post on Facebook, the boy is said to be wearing a uniform of a Standard Private Tahfiz/Elementary school in Kaduna contrary to the report about the boy's enrolment in a public school.

In fact, more shocking revelation about the boy and the school he attends shows that he is guided by men of the Department of State Security 24 hours throughout the time of his arrival and departure from the school. Many have been left with the conclusion that the photos being circulated are nothing but mere propaganda.

However, nothing has been heard from the governor to back up the claims being made.
