A mother has been left touched and joyful after a gallant Nigerian soldier helped her deliver her baby while fleeing from Boko Haram terrorists.

A Nigerian soldier has been praised after he helped a woman deliver a bouncing baby boy in a village in Borno State while fleeing from Boko Haram terrorists.
According to SaharaReporters Hausa, the soldier identified as Celestine Nwabueke had with the help of other women helped the new mother deliver her baby. The grateful mother had wanted to name her child after the soldier in appreciation for his good deed but couldn't as a result of her religion.
The joyful soldier could be seen holding the baby after the delivery.
