An armed robber and his colleague who stormed a shop in the Gwagwalada area of the federal capital territory, Abuja, and successfully robbed his victims has met his Waterloo.

A suspect identified as Illiasu from Kogi State, and his companion allegedly went into a shop and stole about N500,000, this afternoon at Jeremia Useni Junction, in the Gwagwalada area of the federal capital territory, Abuja.
According to reports, they were already leaving on a motorcycle, when the salesgirl grabbed Illiasu from behind and raised an alarm, then he fell off the bike and was dealt decisively by an angry mob.
His partner, however, managed to escape with the money.
The suspected was later handed over to the police after serious beatings.
