A Nigerian pastor has courted controversy after he shared a photo of an alleged 'evil cat' sent to attack his church.

Michael Fakorede, a Senior Pastor at the Gods Generals Church in Port Harcourt has courted controversy after posting a photo of an alleged 'evil cat' killed by a church member that came to attack his church after a vigil. He said the evil cat was sent to attack his church members' destiny, so they killed it.
Fakorede wrote: "After a hot vigil, this evil cat came to attack people in the church and it was killed by church member, I decree, any evil man or woman that are turning to cat to attack your destiny, they shall die by fireeeeee IJN."
But, Nigerians have come out in their numbers to attack the pastor as they blasted him for killing an innocent animal.
Chris Cchain Nwosu while condemning the pastor wrote: "This is animal cruelty for Christ sake! This man is preying on unsuspecting people's ignorance."
