The Governor of Delta State, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and all Deltans celebrated Nigeria's Independence in grand style as the nation turned 56 after gaining independence from Britain in 1960.
The celebration took place at The cenotaph Asaba, Delta State. The Deputy Barr Kingsley Otuaro, Sen James Manager, Rt Hon Leo Ogor, Hon Victor NWOKOLO, Delta SSG Hon Festus Agas , Delta PDP Chairman Barr. Kingsley Esiso, Delta Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Osanebi Ossai Friday and other top dignitaries were in attendance.
