A man who stole a phone at a popular plaza in Abuja has met a cruel fate in the hands of an angry mob after he was caught.

An unidentified young man was beaten to a pulp by an irate mob after he was caught allegedly stealing a mobile phone worth N210,000 at Emab plaza in Abuja on Tuesday. The man was caught in the act and had to be taught a lesson before he was handed over to the police.
It was alleged that the thief had stolen an expensive phone from the same plaza successfully in the past and attempted to do it again. But luck ran out on him as he was given a lesson of a lifetime.
