In what will come across as a rather shocking development, a young boy has shot and murdered his own cousin.

A young boy has got many people totally shocked after murdering his own cousin before turning the gun to his own head.
According to Daily Sun SA, the young boys were at home on Sunday in Machibini Reserve in Mtubatuba, northern KZN, South Africa, when one of them shot dead his cousin with his grandfather's gun and ran to the nearby bush, where he then shot himself.
Reacting to the incident, the boy's grandfather said the parents were not at home when it happened. “When we left home, there was nothing to warn us something bad was going to happen. We were at a burial of a relative, but had to leave the funeral after we got a call telling us to come home.”
He said they rushed home and found the bodies. “I could not believe my eyes. I don’t think I will ever get the image out of my mind. I don’t know how they got hold of the gun, because I had locked it in the safe.
“I suspect demons forced the boy to shoot his cousin.” He added he doesn’t understand why the boy killed himself after seeing he had killed the other boy.
“How did he know his cousin was dead? It still worries me how he shot himself because someone at his age (12) doesn’t even know how to use a gun. I suspect he was forced by evil spirits to do so.”
When Daily Sun spoke to the father, he said: “I am not ready to talk about this. I am still shocked.”
Colonel Thembeka Mbhele said: “Circumstances surrounding the incident are being probed. Charges of murder, inquest and negligent handling of a firearm are being investigated.”
