The governor of Edo state and governor-elect, Godwin Obaseki alongside their wives have knelt before the Oba of Benin for blessings.

After winning the governorship election in Edo State, the Governor-elect, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and his wife, Betsy alongside Governor Adams Oshiomhole with his pretty wife, lara have visited the palace of the crowned prince of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Prince Eheneden Erediauwa, Edaiken N'Uselu in Benin city.
In order to receive their blessings, the politicians were required to kneel before the King as he blessed them while urging them to fulfill their promises to the masses.
