A 12 year old boy accepted the hard choice of being thrown off a bridge instead of committing murder when ambushed by a dangerous gang.

A 12-year-old boy, Angel Ariel Escalante Perez was thrown off the Incienso Bridge, located in Guatemala City, which is one of the longest bridges in Central America over his choice not to kill a stranger.

The little boy was reportedly ambused by a gang of dangerous men who gave him a gun to shoot a commercial driver, or get killed. The boy whose father is also a commercial driver accepted the option of dying instead of committing murder. The heartless gang mandated him to make a choice between being thrown off the bridge or being hacked to death with machetes. He allegedly chose the option of being thrown off the bridge.

The gang hauled the helpless boy off the bridge. He plunged down about 443 feet but fortunately for him, he survived initially. He landed in the thick foliage below that helped reduce the impact of his fall. He experienced the longest time of his life after lying helplessly injured for a period of 72 hours before he was found. He was rushed to the hospital the doctors struggled to keep him alive for just 15 days before he passed away.

Health officials believed he would have survived if found earlier.
