Mare Makhette is an Ivorian-Senegalese man who has become popular for marrying 4 white women. In fact, two from the four women are sisters.
According to
AfrikMag, he is also a father of 17 children he had with different women. The man who is a Muslim has also converted his wives to his religion.
Islam allows a man to marry up to four wives, provided he can support and treat them all equally.
It is mentioned in the Quran, Surah 4 Verse 3: "If you fear that you might not treat the orphans justly, then marry the women that seem good to you: two, or three, or four. If you fear that you will not be able to treat them justly, then marry (only) one, or marry from among those whom your right hands possess. This will make it more likely that you will avoid injustice."
