In an official statement by Samuel Aruwan, the spokesman of Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, the Kaduna state governor, has disclosed that the state government has issued an order declaring the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) led by Ibrahim Zakzaky, an unlawful society.
According to a report by
TheCable News, the statement said the decision to outlaw the sect was arrived at during an executive council meeting which was held on Thursday.
