Three members of the House of Representatives have been handed a lifeline after the House took a drastic decision on their s*x scandal case.

The House of Representatives has today cleared three members accused of sexual misconduct in the United States, Punch reports.

Three of the lawmakers - Mr. Mohammed Garba-Gololo (Bauchi State); Mr. Terse Gbillah (Benue State), and Mr. Samuel Ikon (Cross River State) - had been accused by the former United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. James Entwistle, in his June 9, 2016 letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, stated of that the lawmakers attempted to rape and sexually assault some women in the United States.

As a result, the US had in June cancelled the visas of all three members after accusing them of sexual misconduct while they were attending a leadership programme in Cleveland, Ohio.

However, everything fell apart after the House started a probe which the US ambassador failed to tender evidence he had leveled against the Nigerian lawmakers. As a result, the case was stalled.

All three members, however, dismissed the allegations, saying they were baseless and untrue.
