A man who caught his girlfriend of three years cheating with another man has done the unthinkable before escaping to an unknown place.

A male student at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) in Kakamega County of Kenya has been arrested after he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend for cheating on him.
According to
eDaily, the man is said to have busted his girlfriend locked inside a room with another man in Kefinco area Tuesday, October 11.
After knocking severally for them to open and they refused, the man broke the door and entered. He then took a weapon and stabbed the woman severally before escaping to an unknown place.
The victim was rushed to Kakamega County Referral Hospital for urgent care.
Confirming the incident, Kakamega County Police Commander Tito Kilonzi said the suspect, a third year student at MMUST, will be arraigned Wednesday, October 12.
“The two have been dating for nearly three years now. According to our investigations, the woman told the suspect two months ago that she is no longer interested in the relationship. The man did not want to let her go. On Tuesday morning, he verbally threatened the woman with unspecified action. The suspect then went to take alcohol the whole day before returning to the woman’s house in the evening. He broke the door, beat the victim and stabbed her twice in the abdomen.
“Her neighbours, fellow university students, heard the victim scream and rushed to the scene, where they found the victim lying in a pool of blood. They immediately rushed the victim to hospital,” Mr Kilonzi told eDaily.
