Stoke City Boss, Mark Hughes, has spoken up on the Nigerian Internationals' future following his long loan spell.
Victor Moses
Stoke City Boss, Mark Hughes has said the club may struggle to take Victor Moses back to Chelsea as the Nigerian player is currently in Jose Mourinho's plans.
Moses, who joined Chelsea from Wigan in 2012, has been sent out for season-long loans at Liverpool and Stoke during the two years Mourinho has been back at Stamford Bridge.
Stoke have been keen to re-sign the Nigeria international, but Hughes said he expects the 24-year-old winger to remain with his parent club unless they make further signings in his position.
Moses was one of many Stoke players who enjoyed a solid performance against West Ham. Moses has spent the last two seasons out on loan.
"I think Chelsea have a view on Victor," Hughes said. "What they're thinking, we believe, is that they would possibly like to keep him. If they go into the market again that could change that idea.
"Victor obviously came to us last year and did exceptionally well for us. There were a couple of injuries that hampered him unfortunately but he showed enough in his time with us that it made Chelsea very aware of the talent they have and what Victor could offer."
