A popular nollywood actress and producer, Joy Anyim has been sent to prison over allegations of theft.

According to Akwa Ibom State Broadcasting Corporation (AKBC), the light in complexion actress was arraigned in Uyo, on October 7, 2016 for theft. She is said to be standing trial on a one-count charge of theft of the sum of N460,000.
It is believed the actress is facing hard times which might have resulted in her current predicament. She was remanded in prison until she meets her bail condition of N500,000.
The case was adjourned until October 13, 2016. The actress' first marriage crashed in 2013 over allegations of cheating leveled against her by the husband.
Just last month, the actress’ second marriage to Niger-Delta big boy, Arc Joseph Etiebet of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) crumbled over yet another allegations of extra-marital affairs with a number of her male colleagues.
As at the time of filing this report, she is yet to reply a message sent to her on the matter.
