Just In: Tears of Joy as Freed Chibok Girls are Finally Reunited with Their Parents (Photo+Video)

It was a sober atmosphere at the Department of State Services facility in Abuja on Sunday, as some of the released Chibok girls met with their parents after more than two years in Boko Haram's captivity.

 
We earlier reported that just three days after they were released by Boko Haram group, the 21 Chibok schoolgirls were pictured in a group photo with Senator representaing Bornu state, Ali Ndume in Abuja, looking fresh and cleaned, as they were expected to re-unite with their parents who had embarked on a 24-hour trip from Borno State to meet with their children on Sunday in Abuja. 
 
The released Chibok girls were finally on Sunday, re-united with their parents after more than two years in Boko Haram’s captivity. 
 
According to TheCable News, it was a sober atmosphere at the Department of State Services (DSS) health facility in Abuja, as some of the girls locked themselves in their parents’ embrace and tears of joy flowed freely.
