Pop singer, Davido, has incurred the wrath of some Nigerians on social media following his comments during a new interview.

reported it on Tuesday that while speaking in an exclusive chat with ThisDay, music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, drummed support for President Muhammadu Buhari, despite the current economic meltdown in the country.
The HKN Gang record label boss, disclosed that he still believes in Buhari and thinks he needs a little more time, said: “I believe the country is going through a lot of reforms at the moment.”
“I certainly don’t believe that two years is enough time to fix Nigeria considering all we have being through.
“All President Buhari needs is a lot of time, dedication and most importantly, support from the people and God willing he will succeed in making Nigeria great again,” he had said.
Just like we all expected, Davido's statement incurred the wrath of some Nigerians on social media following his support for Buhari as mixed reactions and wild criticisms trailed his comments, with many cursing and blasting him for being insensitive to the plight of Nigerians.
