People ran helter-skelter after a highway road dramatically split into two early morning swallowing many cars.
People were left shocked after the highway suddenly split into two
People were forced to run for cover in Cameroon this morning after the ever busy Yaounde/Douala highway split into two, swallowing vehicles in the process.
The incident happened following a heavy downpour in the area. Motorists were left stranded as movement was cut short because of the shocking incident.
People have been warned to change route. The incident happened at Matomb, a village situated between Boumnyebel and Mbankomo along the Douala – Yaounde highway. The cut is estimated to be about 3 meters deep and 5 Meters wide.
