Some evil gunmen who abducted a businessman in Owerri have killed him after collecting ransom money from the family.

Unknown gunmen who kidnapped a businessman, Mr. Amaechi Ahanonu of Amato Orogwe in Owerri West LGA of Imo State last week have brutally murdered him after collecting ransom.
According to Dailytrust, the father of nine was abducted from his home by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers and taken to an unknown destination.
Ahanonu’s body was found in a bush even after the kidnappers had collected N500,000 from the family. The kidnapers had earlier demanded N10m for his release.
The body of the victim has been taken to a mortuary by policemen policemen from the Owerri West Divisional headquarters. The pain of the loss has left the man's family in tears.
