Lagos Road Transport Workers in Bloody Clash Over Hike in Price of Tickets (Photos)

Violence erupted among transport workers of two different associations in the Igando area of Lagos with casualties recorded.

National Union of Road Transport Workers clashed with Road Transport Employers' Association of Nigeria today, 27th of October, 2016 in the Igando area of Lagos over the increase in the price of tickets.
 
Some members of both associations were seriously injured before the intervention of the Rapid Response Squad this morning.
 
Some injured victims have since being treated as efforts are currently being made to ameliorate the anomaly.
