A very tragic incident has wiped out a whole family after the irate husband killed his wife and daughter before setting the house on fire.

A tragic incident has claimed the life of a three family members after the husband stabbed the wife and daughter before taking his own life by setting their house on fire. The incident took place on Sunday in Makueni County.
According to
NairobiNews, Makueni OCPD Benjamin Osongo said the couple had quarreled before the incident.
“Preliminary reports indicate that a man, a woman and a three year old girl have died in the house,” Mr Osongo told Nation.
The incident drew the attention of a large crowd who wanted to help, but it was too late. A neigbhour revealed that the couple had relocated to the area a month ago and that they lived in harmony until the incident occurred.
Eyewitnesses said they heard cries at the house as the woman begged the husband not to kill her just minutes before the house burst into flames.
Rescuers who could not access the house since it had been locked from inside attempted to access the room from the roof after the fire subsided.
The bodies of the victims were taken to Makueni Referral Hospital mortuary.
