Shameless: Man Rapes Under-aged Daughters and Nieces in Ibadan (Photos)

 

An elderly man, Tajudeen Awoniyi suspected to be having sexual relationships with his two underaged daughters, and two other nieces all between the ages of 14 and 17 have been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command. The crime was reportedly committed in his house at Moniya in the Akinyele LGA of Ibadan.

 

The suspect who is a herbalist has denied the allegations levelled against him. The four girls were brought forward to make statements concerning the grave allegations at the state police headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan. They all confirmed and narrated how the man had sex with them on different occasions.

While parading the suspect, Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Muhammed Katsina, said the accused person had carnal knowledge of his own daughters whenever he was drunk.

The commissioner alleged that the suspect would give black soap to the other two nieces before having sexual intercourse with them one after the other.

One of the victims narrates her account of the shameful criminal act:

 

“His daughters came to our house and asked us to follow them to their place. On getting there, her father told us he would give us soap by midnight which we must use to bathe.

“Around 1a.m., he woke me up, gave me a black soap and asked me to go and take my bath. After taking my bath, I went to him and he placed something under his tongue and asked me to sleep on a bench.

“He had sex with me. Afterwards, I was bleeding and he asked me to go to bed. By morning, he sent my sister and me out of his house.”

Other accounts by the other victims confirmed he had been sleeping with them since last year in a drunken state during which he ties their mouths with a cloth to prevent people from hearing their cries during the painful intercourse.

 

The children all expressed fear of revealing the secret for fear of not being killed diabolically. He was finally exposed when one of the victims started developing complications with her tummy.
