Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, who has always shied away from discussing anything that has to do with her father, has revealed that he abandoned her when she was still a child.
In the latest issue of Genevieve Magazine, the award-winning actress said her father was unhappy about her birth and had to leave. "My dad is not such an amazing person in my life. I don't have any good memories of him", she said while pointing out that her step-father ensured she never missed having a father figure in her life.
"I always wished I could have had him in my life", Yvonne says of her step-father.
