The army officers who died a heroic death while pushing back the Boko Haram insurgency are set to be buried.

These are photos from the burial of the Nigerian soldiers who were killed by Boko Haram recently.
The slain soldiers were confronting Boko Haram terrorists in the North East when they were killed.
One of the murdered army officers is Lt. Col. Muhammad Abu Ali, a highly celebrated officer who has been described as a gallant, battle tested and trusted patriotic soldier of the Nigerian Army.
Four other Nigerian soldiers died in the attack.
The soldiers were killed in confrontation with suspected Boko Haram terrorists who attacked 119 Battalion, Nigerian Army location at Mallam Fatori on Friday, in a failed attempt to capture the town.

The burial is attended by a high powered delegation set up by President Muhammadu Buhari.
