Media controversy has trailed the Senate President, Bukola Saraki who announced activities for the fourth anniversary of his father, Dr. Olusola Saraki's death.

The embattled Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has been trailed with media controversy after he announced on Monday, November 14th, that a prayer service will be held for the 4th anniversary of his father, Dr. Olusola Saraki’s death.
It would be recalled that Saraki’s father, the late Olusola Saraki, who was born on the 17th of May, 1933 at Ilorin, Kwara State, was also a Senator of the Nigerian Second Republic (1979-1983), and died on November 14, 2016. He was aged 78.
When the Senate president announced the remembrance on Monday, many people reacted in different ways. Many sympathised with him and dropped a few lines of prayers, while some others were indifferent and some went out of their ways to say some nasty things.
