When Papastathopoulos prized it from the clutches of the former Manchester City frontman, Dzeko grabbed onto the Greek’s legs and then yanked down his shorts. As an incensed Dzeko was rising to his feet, Papastathopoulos fell to the ground, provoking a mass fracas involving players from both sides in the corner of the pitch.

When order was finally restored, the referee showed the former Manchester City player a second yellow and then a red card.
