A close look at the trousers would show that it has been made from a used sack.
The exact place where the photo was taken is not known but it was shared on Twitter by one A.S. Aruwa.
According to Aruwa, this man's decision to sew his trousers from a sack has been motivated by the recesssion.
Many other Twitter users have agreed with Aruwa, arguing that the man with the weird trousers must have decided to sew the pants using with used sacks because he was unable to purchase normal material.
Others however have said the man is only an attention seeking person who only wants to cause some tongue-wagging.
