Former Commonwealth Secretary, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, has yesterday disregarded the article by online news platform, SaharaReporters claiming he met with President Muhammadu Buhari to plead for forgiveness concerning the current probe of the financial activities of the last Goodluck Jonathan-led political dispensation.
He described the report as ‘utterly baseless and despicable,” He accused the news platform of fabricating a false story against him.

The truth is that my meeting with the President lasted only 25 minutes and never, repeat never, was former President Jonathan mentioned in our discussions,”
