A woman has been arrested after she brutally ended her husband's life by stabbing him to death.

A man, Samuel Mwangi, 39, has lost his life after the estranged wife stabbed him to death during a confrontation. The woman identified as Alice Wangu, 30, was a bar attendant before stabbing her husband to death at Kiawara Township, Nyeri County area of Kenya.
The couple had separated from the husband, over domestic issues before the incident.
According to Nairobi News, the husband, who had moved to a different house, decided to pay her a visit, Monday evening but found her with a new man prompting a violent confrontation between the three.
In the chaos, Ms Wangu picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed her estranged husband near the heart, killing him instantly.
After that, he called neighbours and confessed to the crime. She was later arrested and detained at Kiawara police station. Kieni West OCPD, John Kemboi confirmed the incident.
“We are aware of the matter and further details will be shared as soon as we complete our investigations,” said Mr Kemboi.
