Popular singer says shooting music videos in Nigeria is more expensive than abroad due to reasons which he disclosed.
'Pass me your love' singer, Ay.Com, has revealed the reason behind most musicians' decision to shoot their music videos abroad, preferrably in South Africa, rather than in Nigeria.
While the general assumption is that shooting music videos in Nigeria will be less expensive, prevent capital flight and help develop the local industry, Ay.Com (real name Ayoola Johnson), says that is not the case.
"It is nice to shoot videos abroad because of the good locations, good cars and pretty models", he stated. "Most times, it is cheaper to shoot videos abroad as opposed to doing same in Nigeria because of the availability of equipment for doing so".
