A branch of multinational shopping mall, Shoprite in Ibadan incurred heavy losses on the popular Black Friday following a massive intrusion of miscreants who smartly looted commodities.
A popular comedian in Ibadan, Oyo State named Mc Kwamz has reported the uncontrolled shoplifting by indigenes of Ibadan at a branch of Shoprite on Black Friday which took place across the world on the 25th of November, 2016.
Black Friday affords prospective customers the opportunity to purchase goods at relatively low prices. This prompted buyers to storm the retail outlet en masse to satisfy their desires with maximum utility.
Indigenes of Ibadan whose large numbers overwhelmed the security apparatus ended up emptying the can drinks in their tummies discreetly, consuming biscuits, confectioneries, bottle water and also went as far as hiding assorted perfumes in their underwear.
Mc Kwamz who spoke in Yoruba language lamented on the anomaly which he described as defaming and unbecoming of the good people of the largest city in West Africa.
