Former NSA, Sambo Dasuki has been under huge scrutiny since his home was invaded by officials of the DSS on Thursday, July 16, 2015.

New reports emerging suggest that bank accounts of the former NSA, Sambo Dasuki might be frozen this coming week.

Dasuki has been under investigation since his home was invaded by officials of the DSS on Thursday, July 16, 2015.

According to Punch, the DSS is now making moves to apply for a court order to freeze Dasuki’s accounts due to investigations into the spending of the funds allocated for defence.

The freezing of the accounts would supposedly aid investigators in tracking the inflow and outflow of money from them.

“We will apply for a court order and the bank accounts of the former NSA would be frozen this week when the investigation starts. The present administration believes in accountability and will investigate how defence votes were spent,” an official of the DSS said.

The DSS withdrew from Dasuki’s Abuja home on Friday, July 17, after allegedly recovering seven high calibre rifles (high assault weapons), several magazines, military related gears and 12 new vehicles.

Meanwhile, Dasuki has threatened to seek legal redress for the DSS siege on his home and has described the allegations levelled against him as false.
