Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu has been fingered in the directive given by the National Communications Commission to increase the prices of data services.
According to reports, NCC issued the circular to telecommunications companies with a directive of compliance latest December 1, 2016.
Strong rumours have it that Mr. Shittu must have played a key role in the increment proposal despite the crisis of recession that has crippled the peoples' earnings.
A group who made available the phone numbers have urged Nigerians to disturb the minister's telephone lines with hang up phone calls as punishment for his actions.
