Chelsea are ready to make a big-money move for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez if he does not resolve his contract situation at the Emirates, reports say.

The Blues are keen to add to their squad as Antonio Conte looks to continue his impressive rebuilding job and he is now ready to move for the Chilean.

While Chelsea are yet to make a firm bid for Sanchez, they are watching his situation closely and should it become clear the 27-year-old will not sign a new deal, The Blues will make their move, according to The Mirror.

Sanchez’s recent form has been nothing short of sensational and Arsenal are becoming increasingly worried he won’t sign a new deal. And Conte believes he would be a dream addition to a front line that already boasts Diego Costa and Eden Hazard.

Sanchez will only have one year left on his £130,000-a-week deal at the end of the season and his situation is becoming a matter of urgency.

But Arsenal are currently unwilling to meet his financial demands with the Chilean looking to be on a similar pay level to other Premier League top earners Paul Pogba, Sergio Aguero and Eden Hazard.

Chelsea are willing to match his demands and Arsenal could face a real fight to keep him.
