The Lagos State Commissioner of Police has stunned people with his recent action after meeting a woman who stole plantain.
Fatai Owoseni, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, has set a woman who was detained for stealing.
The man set the woman free during an unscheduled visit to Agbowa Police Station, Epe today.
The lady and her baby had been arrested for stealing plantain in Agbowa Market, Epe.
The lady on interrogation by the CP explained that she was pushed into stealing the plantain because she and her baby were hungry.
The CP on hearing this, gave the lady N10,000 and warned her never to repeat the act again.
