EFCC Set To Probe Jonathan's Aides, Ministers and Others

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission,EFCC is set to probe major public office holders attached to the Goodluck Jonathan-led administration.

According to a report by Punch, The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC has concluded plans to commence the probe of former ministers, special advisers, heads of parastatals and aides of former President Jonathan.

EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde has already directed that all petitions against them should be forwarded to him, to be acted upon as the anti-graft agency is determined to expose any corrupt act during the last administration.

The indicted public office holders could be invited for grilling very soon after which due prosecution will be followed if necessary.
 
The report also suggests that the anti-graft agency would focus on those whose establishments attracted huge allocations from the Federal Government when Jonathan was in power.

Such ministries and agencies, it was learnt, included defence, petroleum resources and power.
