What could have been a tragedy was averted when Aero Flight NG127 had to make an emergency landing at the domestic terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MM2), Ikeja, Lagos on Tuesday evening.

According to a passenger on the flight, one of the wings of the aircraft tore apart just few minutes after take off, which prompted the pilot to make a return to the airport for emergency landing.

On landing, the pilot announced that one of the wheels has also been lost. It couldn't move further from the run way so buses came to pick the passengers on the runway

"A passenger detected that the wing of the flight was damaged and alerted a hostess. The pilot lost control, but thank God we landed safely." a passenger said.
