These two men were accused of trailing a man from the Igbo tribe of Nigeria to the bank in a bid to rob him in the course of which they met their waterloo.
Two suspected robbers beaten mercilessly in Bida, Niger State, after a failed attempt to snatch N3 million from a man who was leaving the premises of a First Bank Plc branch.
The men were stripped unclad in the full glare of the public as individuals descended on them at regular intervals. Nigerians have been urged to be security conscious especially during the forthcoming yuletide where miscreants are showing desperation for funds.
