A bat has fought successfully to defeat a deadly python that wanted to strangle it for its meal.

A python's decision to use a bat as its meal did not end as the snake had planned. The bat surprised the python by fighting back as it tried to strangle the smaller animal and crush it.
Unexpectedly the bat fought back by biting the snake forcing it to loosen its grip and escape.
The incident happened in a Similan islands beach in Thailand.
