A 3-year old American girl named Stephanie Martinez met her untimely death on a Disneyland trip after she fell 5 floors down at the the Embassy Suites hotel in Anaheim, California.
According to KWU- TV, the little girl had been enjoying a weekend trip to the theme park last weekend when the horrific accident happened.
The family, from Las Vegas, had returned to the hotel, six miles from the theme park, on Saturday. Stephanie’s mother was in the shower while other relatives were downstairs in the hotel courtyard. They were reportedly not keeping their eyes on her as she freely strayed around. The child decided she wanted to join her family downstairs and went to the balcony rails. This led to the terrible fall that killed her.
Stephanie’s cousin, Eddie Fraire said, “Her mom came out to check up on her. She saw her hanging off the rails. She screamed, so the little girl got scared and fell down from the fifth floor,”
Fraire, Stephanie’s father and other relatives witnessed the horrific fall and tried to run and catch the little girl but it was too late.
She was rushed to the hospital in a bid to revive her. Stephanie painfully gave up the ghost a while later.
