In a bid to put smiles on faces of those who could not afford food items for the celebration of Christmas, popular singer, Simi, has donated foodstuff to families in Lagos.

Nigerian singer, Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, popularly known as Simi, who won the 2016 Headies award as the Best Female Vocal Performance last night at a star-studded event in Lagos, has put smiles in faces of poor families for the celebration of Christmas.
According to posts the singer who started her career as a gospel artiste shared on her Instagram page on Friday, December 23, 2016, she has donated foodstuff to about 100 families in Lagos.
She captioned a post, "#ASmileForChristmasWithSimi. Thank God for the success of this effort.
"God bless everyone that gave. May your pockets never run dry and may God bless you beyond your wildest imaginations.
"We were able to give foodstuff to about a hundred families (Give or Take) - My hope is that overtime, we can reach more people and put smiles on even more faces.
"Also, very importantly, my mum was so amazing and she helped me with most of the planning. I love u mama❤️❤️❤️."
